A special recipe for our readers recipe
Do you have any tasty, easy recipes for us?
One of my favourite tasty and easy recipes for my reader is the easy cured rice using solely the Panasonic Rice Cooker SR-JMY188.
- 2 cups of white rice
- 7-8 dried shiitake mushrooms
- 2 Chinese sausages (pork)
- ¼ cup dried shrimps
The night before, wash the dried shiitake mushrooms. Soak them in water overnight.7-8 dried shiitake mushrooms
Do not throw away the mushroom water. Remove the shiitake mushrooms. Set aside the water.
Use a scissor to remove the mushroom stems. Cut them into cubes.
In a small bowl, soak the dried shrimps for 5-10 minutes. Roughly chop them into smaller pieces. If the dried shrimps are small, you can leave them as it is.¼ cup dried shrimps
Cut the Chinese sausages into small cubes.
2 Chinese sausages (pork)
In the rice cooker, add 2 cups of white rice. Wash them thoroughly. Add the mushroom water up to the mark (for 2-cup rice) on the rice cooker.2 cups white rice
Place the Chinese sausage and shiitake mushrooms in a small bowl. And place the bowl in the steamer tray (comes with the rice cooker).
Select “white rice” setting and press start.
Once the rice is cooked, mix the Chinese sausage and shiitake mushrooms in the rice. Ready to serve.
What is your favourite coffee machine to have at home, and why?
I currently have a Nespresso Pixie at home, and my recent favourite is Lumine Coffee on West 4th Ave. Regarding drinks, my choice is the Starbucks Blonder Americano Misto.
Which products do you always bring inside your handbag?
Province en Couleur Lavender Hand Sanitizer
Currently, I would never forget my hand sanitizer and my phone in my handbag.
It has a natural and beautiful lavender aroma, and it is pocket size so I can carry it around.
Otherwise, it will be my card holder from Kate Spade that can hold my compass and credit cards.
Which camera or cellphone do you use to get these high-quality images?
I use a Sony A6400 and iPhone 13 for photos and videos.
If I had to chose one product, it would be my iPhone 13. There are way too many memories and photos in my phone, and I am a heavy social media user which makes it hard for me to leave my phone.
What is your main tip to keep hair always good-looking?
I enjoy using the Aveda Shampure shampoo and conditioner.
They carry all-natural products and it’s great for me who has a eczema on my scalp.
